Description
This reproduction of “Christ the King” was painted by C.B. Chambers between the 1920s and 1950s. In it, Christ is wearing red and white robes and a royal crown, with the crown of thorns over it. His Sacred Heart is glowing through His garments, He is holding His right hand up in blessing, and in His left He is holding the world.
Charles Bosseron Chambers was a Catholic American artist. He painted mostly portraits, and in the ’50s his religious works became wildly popular, leading to him being known as the “Norman Rockwell” of religious art. This piece was meticulously restored by our team of graphic designers.
